NHSaves Button Up Workshop

The workshop will be presented by Andy Duncan, Energy Trainer and Certified Energy Auditor, with support from NHSaves in partnership with Nelson Clean Energy, the Nelson Library, and the Sullivan Conservation Commission.

Why attend the NHSaves Button Up Workshop?

The workshop will help you learn about energy efficiency, make smart energy choices, and take advantage of incentives that are already available to you. The presentation covers basic building science principles as well as examples of whole-house weatherization measures that will button up your home for the heating and cooling seasons.  It also covers details about the energy efficiency programs offered by NH utilities (for existing homes and new construction) that provide energy audits, weatherization measures such as air sealing and insulating and rebates on new technologies and products such as electric and gas appliances and high efficiency electric heating/cooling equipment.

What is NHSaves?

NHSaves is a collaboration of New Hampshire’s electric and natural gas utilities working together to provide NH customers with information, incentives, and support designed to save energy, reduce costs, and protect our environment statewide.

How is the free NHSaves workshop paid for? 

Workshops are partially paid by you! So come and take advantage of this opportunity, which you have already contributed to. “The NHSaves programs are funded through three sources: A portion of charges applied to electric and natural gas customer billing. Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative (RGGI) auction proceeds. Proceeds obtained from participation in ISO-New England’s Forward Capacity Market.”
