This is a luncheon meeting for representatives of communities across the Monadnock Region, and due to space limitations it is by invitation only for Select Board and Energy Committee members, and renewable energy champions. Learn about the newly-created position of Monadnock Energy Circuit Rider for municipalities, and MSH’s Program Manager who is available for communities, residents and businesses. Hosted by the Swanzey Energy Committee.
The Forum will provide:
- Updates on Community Power programs and progress in the region, what’s happening in Concord at the legislature and the Public Utilities Commission (PUC), and a review of municipal energy savings opportunities.
- A chance to share your town’s successes, lessons, and aspirations and learn what other towns are doing and aiming toward.
- Specific opportunities to save energy dollars and cut carbon emissions.
- Benchmarking municipal energy use
- Electric Police Cars
- Solar siting
- Funding opportunities through NHSaves, Inflation Reduction Act and other programs.
