Take Climate Action
There are many steps you can take as an individual to reduce your impact on the environment: from driving an electric vehicle, to making your home more energy efficient, to investing in residential solar. However, we acknowledge that these actions are not feasible options for everyone.
However, there is something each of us has that is integral to the success of climate action in our state and country: a voice. Let your leaders know that you are concerned about climate change. Call for more effective and urgent climate action. Use your voice, because it matters!
We recommend starting with these simple, yet meaningful climate actions. Also check out our event calendar for some time-sensitive climate action items.
Write Your Representatives about the Energy Innovation & Carbon Dividend Act
The MSH endorses the Energy Innovation and Carbon Dividend Act, which (if passed) would put a price on carbon emissions and result in improved public health, a more stable climate, and increased American jobs—all while putting money back into your pocket! The Citizens Climate Lobby provides an easy way to send an electronic letter to your state senators and local representatives in support of this game-changing bill.
