Monadnock Sustainability Network seeks to bring the power of the sun to more people through our Community Supporter Solar (CSS) project. We’re looking for host organizations throughout the region to increase access to solar for municipalities, nonprofits, and low & moderate income households. The Monadnock Food Co-op in Keene served as our first host — could your organization be the next one?
CSS Hosts:
- Own a property where the photovoltaic (PV) system can be installed.
- Bring together a group of champions to support forming a small business, a Limited Liability Company (LLC) that will own and operate the PV system.
- Purchase the PV system from the LLC after six years.
