Heat Pump Seminar – Learn about the most cost-effective way to heat and cool your home

Join VECAN (Vermont Energy and Climate Action Network) and Efficiency Vermont to find out one of the ways that New Englanders can heat their homes in the cleanest and most efficient ways. This webinar will explain how heat pumps work, and what programs are available to transition homes to heat pumps. (Some of the information will be Vermont-specific.)

Heat pump systems are 3-4 x more efficient than oil furnaces, and they produce no indoor air pollution (which fossil appliances do)! Heat pumps offer the second most efficient way to heat homes – after geothermal, which costs a lot more. Installing the right heat pump heating system for your home can be expected to approximately halve your annual heating bill, (depending on what you use now). It also offers a way to efficiently cool your home in hot weather.
