Listen to our story on NHPR!

The Hub is excited to announce the Electrify Monadnock Fund, a privately funded rebate program launching this spring – with over $400,000 in donations so far – to help low- and moderate-income residents in the region make a wide range of clean energy upgrades.

Monadnock residents can receive up to $7,000 for the following:

Weatherization

Solar panels

Battery storage

Heat pumps

Induction stoves

Heat pump water heaters

Heat pump dryers

Electric panel upgrades

Electric vehicles (EVs) *

Frequently Asked Questions

How much funding can I receive?

You may be eligible for up to $7,000 in rebates!

We will cover 100% of project costs up to $5,000 OR
30% of project costs for larger projects with a maximum rebate of $7,000

If you qualify, you may choose whichever amount is greater.

How do I know if I qualify?

To qualify, you must be a resident of the Monadnock Region (towns shown below) and fall under the federal definition of low to moderate household income for the region.

If you are purchasing an electric vehicle, the final price must be $40,000 or less.

If you are installing an air-source heat pump, it must be on the NH Saves qualified product list.

Can these funds be combined with other incentives?

Yes! You are able to combine our funds with federal, state, and other private incentives.

Can I use the fund for multiple projects?

Yes! A household may reapply to the fund for additional projects if that household has not used the full $5,000. Please note that households are only eligible for a total of $5,000.

Can I receive a rebate if my project is already started?

We do not provide rebates for projects that are already underway. We encourage you to talk to a coach to explore future opportunities.

Am I able to reapply for another $5,000-7,000?

At this time, we do not know when we will be able to accommodate applications for households that have already spent their allotted funds. We will reevaluate in 2027 after the program has run for a year.

Households that have not spent $5,000 on one project may reapply to use the remainder of their allotted funding for another project.

Can I donate to the Fund?

Yes! We welcome donations in any amount for this important work.
